Q. Can I take your Food Hygiene qualification on my tablet or mobile?
A. Yes, our courses work using HTML5 so are compatible on Windows, Apple, tablets and mobile devices.
Q. I am a UK based business but English isn’t the first language of a number of my workforce. Can they watch any of your courses in their language?
A. As an England based e Learning Company all of our courses are narrated in English. We do not offer any courses in other languages. The main reason for this is that the Independent EHO’s who audit our courses recommend that qualification taken for work in the UK, should be taken English. Especially in topics like Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.
Upon completion of an Esky course the trainee can download a copy of the course notes. This is a print-out of the key points learnt during the course in case the trainee would like to refer back to them. In the past Esky has worked with customers to produce translated versions of these notes.
However due to the cost of this process it is only cost effective for companies with a large number of employees to undertake this process.

Q. Are your courses suitable for people with learning difficulties or dyslexia?
A. We have had many trainees with dyslexia or learning disabilities who have successfully completed, and enjoyed the course. We have also received a lot of positive feedback from these trainees because they could watch the course at their own speed and re-watch any parts if needed. Our courses can also be paused in order to make notes at any particular part.
One of the more unique elements to every Esky course is our use of audio accompanied with animation and interactive game. We find that these elements can help to greatly improve the retention of new information in learners. We have found that this delivery of training is generally preferred by users with unique learning requirements because they are more appealing visually and helps to make sense of new things.
Upon completion of the course the trainee can download a copy of the course notes. These are there in case that trainee would like to refer back to them.

Q. I am a business not based in the UK but would like to use e Learning to train my workforce in Food Hygiene. Can you help?
A. Currently Esky does not offer any course in any language other than English. It is conceivable that we can produce a course which is narrated in another language. Due to the nature of our animated courses there would be a large cost involved regarding translation, recording, editing and production. Due to these factors it would only work out as a cost effective solution if a larger business, with the need to train thousands of employees, needed this solution.
