Induction for Food Handlers
This online induction is aimed at new starters in the food and drink industry. Anyone handling food should train in Food Safety Level 2 within 3 months of starting a job, but this induction course is for the first day of work to give a quick overview of safety around food and in the workplace in general. For food hygiene it covers personal hygiene, food poisoning and cross contamination, then for workplace safety this course looks at fire safety, burns and scalds, manual handling and slips, trips and falls.
