Food Safety Law

The law requires that food handlers receive training to a level which is suitable for the job they do. If you run a breakfast club, canteen or an after school club you should know the importance of training for both compliance with the law and to protect staff and children. It is mandatory that all Nursery staff or Childminders handling and preparing food must receive Food Safety Level 2 training.

Health and Safety Law

All childminders in England must also receive Health and Safety Training to comply with the requirements with EYFS 2012, Childcare Register 2012 and health and safety legislation.
