Allergen Awareness. Peanuts.

This week we're taking a look at the allergenic ingredient of Peanuts.

Peanuts, also known as groundnuts, are used in a lot of foods, including sauces, cakes and desserts. They are frequently used in Thai and Indonesian dishes. Also, watch out for Coronation sandwiches, peanut flour and groundnut oil.


Common foods that contain Peanuts.

Peanuts are often found in a wide variety of different foods including:

  • Sauces
  • Cakes and desserts.
  • Thai and Indonesian dishes
  • Peanut flour
  • Groundnut Oil
